Versant was recognized for our creative work with two local partners – Milwaukee County Transit System and the Miller Brewing Company.

The MCTS promotional campaign, “Saving For” and “Cutting Back” TV, was awarded first place in the 2010 Ad Wheel Awards competition. Designed to communicate to target audiences the benefits of riding the bus and increase ridership – saving money – was a clear message that resonated with everyone during this economic climate, as well as the judges of this year’s competition. Part of the honor for receiving the grand award, this campaign will be announced at the 2010 APTA Annual meeting in San Antonio on October 4.

The second award received was for the Miller Brewing print ad, which won the Gold Communicator of Excellence award for 2010. This ad was part of an integrated marketing campaign to build brand awareness and position the Tour Center as a tourist attraction and retail outlet. Versant was excited to participate in the Communicator Awards this year for the first time, and more excited to be honored with the gold award among almost 7,000 other qualified communication professionals.
