That was the challenge with Catholic Health Services of Long Island (CHS), an integrated healthcare delivery system that includes some of the region’s finest health and human services agencies. CHS includes six hospitals, three nursing homes, a regional home care and hospices group, and a community-based agency for persons with special needs.
Catholic Health Services of Long Island grew over the years through diocese restructuring, and as a result struggled to unify the more than 20,000 employees throughout their 14 facilities.
After conducting extensive research and interviews with leadership, Versant developed a messaging platform and strategic communications road map. Versant created the “One CHS” identity and told a positive story from the perspective of various leaders throughout CHS via posters, videos and a landing page. The story reinforced their shared mission and was also relayed to the Catholic community of Long Island through print ads and TV commercials.
